Good deed of the day

Well I just did my good deed of the day, I hope.  While doing some domain name research, I came accross the domainname amberalert.org and saw that it has an alexa rank of 414,648, but it is pointed to a godaddy parking page. 

I did a whois look up to find out the owner is Global Alerts.  They also own amberalert.com which has an alexa rank of 1,084,514.  I emailed the whois contant, and told them they are missing out on all the traffic going to amberalert.org.  I also explained godaddy was profitting from their traffic when ever someone clicks on one of there ads.

Within 5 minutes of sending the email, the domain was redirected to the home page at amberalerts.com.  I’m not sure if it’s because of my email, or just a coincidence, but I feel like I did my good deed for today.
